New Year Resolutions!

I don't really do the whole "it's a new year, a fresh start!" thing because I have tried to keep my resolutions for the past years but I always fail one way or the other. For me, a new year is not a fresh start because I always go back to whatever I did the year before. But I do try and keep goals and I really want to try and accomplish my goal. One of the things that I really need to work on is wasting my time. On my days off, I always just lie around and do nothing and as I look back, I deeply regret it. I am a strong believer in making every minute count in life because life is too short and it's going to end. I want to be more productive with my time and not waste my time. I know that I'm still young and have the rest of my life ahead of me, but I am 16 and I only have 2 1/2 years until I am officially not a teenager anymore. (at age 20) I feel like I always have the most fun at this age in my teen years because it's where we learn so much and have fun. So I want to use my time wisely and have fun at the same time.
My second goal is to save my money. I don't have a job at the moment but whenever I ask my parents for money, I spend it right away. I hate that and I hate going to my parents every time I want money. I want to save up money and buy myself something nice and not some stupid thing that I thought was cool when I bought it but has been sitting in a corner of my room collecting dust.So from now on, I am going to try my best and save every single penny I get and then buy myself something like a laptop or something.
So in conclusion, I want to be more productive with my time and I want to save my money for later and not spend it right away.

  2. I am right with ya when it comes to lying around and being lazy on days off. I spend too much time on the computer and watching tv. I want to make sure I make all the time of my teen years count because I don't want any "what ifs" when I look back on my life.
